Waiting With Expectations

Waiting With Expectations

In life we are all waiting for something

Waiting for dreams to come through, for right partners to show up, for miracle babies, career turnaround and what have you. We are always waiting for something.

There is a right way to wait and also a wrong way to wait… the amplified version put Isaiah 40:31 this way

But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him)

Waiting is not a passive word but an active word. Time to wait is not time to do nothing, that’s a wrong way to wait. True waiting is actively expecting…always looking for God’s goodness to pop up for you. Always expecting new doors to open, new deals to come through, life to turn around for good… this is how to wait with expectation.

Looking up to new days, with new hopes of something beautiful that is about to happen. There is an anticipation in your spirit…your talk shows it, your actions shows it… you are on anticipation mode

Ps 27:13-14, our expectation is our faith been release in the validity of God’s word. When you wait with expectation, we are not moved by the happenings but by the said promise of Christ. Waking up every morning believing that God is bigger and greater than the challenge.

Expect beautiful things to happen daily, put it on your to do list. We may not get it to happen on our timeline, but always remember that God is faithful.

Isaiah 49:20-23

The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, ‘This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.’
21 Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who bore me these? I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected. Who brought these up? I was left all alone, but these—where have they come from?’ ”
22 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I will beckon to the nations, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their hips.
23 Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.
Get a word for your situation and stay on it. Everything else will fail but not the word. The word discovered and practice is the key to your bright future. Don’t expect on men because they are temporal…Isaiah 40:6-8, here today, tomorrow gone…
Base on your expectation on acting on the word of God…your expectation shall not be cut short.
Shalom!
